Personal Investment Account data analysis engine visualised as a network of signals

About Personal Investment Account

Built on evidence, not intuition.

Personal Investment Account exists to give remote-first investors a disciplined, data-led alternative to guesswork — with a public record to back every claim.

Why we started Personal Investment Account

Most analysis tools ask you to trust a black box. We built Personal Investment Account around the opposite idea: every prediction should be checkable, every miss should be visible, and every user should be able to see the track record before they rely on it.

Personal Investment Account team reviewing predictive analysis output

From a simple frustration to a working engine

Personal Investment Account began as an internal tool for testing predictive models against real outcomes, rather than backtested assumptions alone. As the gap between marketed accuracy and actual performance became harder to ignore, we rebuilt the project around a single rule: publish the log, win or lose.

That rule still shapes how we design every feature today. If something can't be measured and shown, it doesn't ship.

What we're working toward

To make predictive data analysis something investors can verify, not just trust — and to hold our own output to the same standard we expect from any tool we'd use ourselves.

Transparency by default

Our outputs are logged publicly, including the misses, so performance is a matter of record rather than marketing copy.

Built for remote decisions

We design for investors who work asynchronously and need clear, portable evidence rather than long calls or dense reports.

Discipline over noise

We'd rather ship fewer, better-tested signals than chase volume. Quality of evidence matters more than quantity of alerts.

The standards we hold ourselves to

Show the work

Methodology, assumptions, and historical performance should be inspectable, not just asserted.

Accuracy over confidence

We'd rather flag uncertainty honestly than present a polished number that overstates what the data supports.

Earn trust continuously

A public log means trust is re-earned with every entry, not established once and assumed forever.

The people behind the engine

Personal Investment Account is built by a small, focused team of analysts and engineers who care more about getting the data right than shipping fast. We work remotely, across disciplines, and we review our own outputs against the same public log our users see.

See the track record for yourself.

Before you take our word for it, take a look at the log. It's the same one we hold ourselves to.
